Maria Sensi Sellner, Conductor

 

Maria Sensi Sellner is an emerging conductor based in Pittsburgh, PA. Equally at home in opera, orchestra, and choral venues, she is the newly appointed Director of the Akron Symphony Chorus, the Music Director of the All University Orchestras at Carnegie Mellon University, and a Conducting Assistant for the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh.  She has conducted opera productions for the Carnegie Mellon School of Music and was the Assistant Conductor for recent productions of Carmen and Otello at Opera Carolina.
